COMPONENT REPLACEMENT
The salt cell: the part that actually makes the chlorine: doesn't last forever. Depending on how much you run your pump and how well you maintain your chemistry, these cells usually need to be replaced every 3 to 7 years. Think of it like a very long-lasting lightbulb. It’s a maintenance expense you’ll need to budget for down the road.
